Recently, in my novel, Yossarian has been readmitted into the hospital that he got out of. He has recurring nightmares now of the bomb run that went bad. He just imagines Snowden in the back of the truck, whispering that he’s cold while he is bloody and shot, dying. He is doing every type of therapy possible to try to forget the event, but nothing seems to be working.
This section of the book is quite interesting. I like the “cycle” of leaving the hospital and winding back up in the same place. I thought that that hidden message was quite interesting.
